The big announcements keep on coming from Queenstown, with more exciting news to report from the ANZPT. This time, the news comes from Full Tilt Poker with a trio of young Australians announced as the latest ambassadors for the tour.

Jono Karamalikis, Liam O’Rourke and Tom Grigg were today announced as official representatives of Full Tilt Poker. They will act as Tour Ambassadors for the ANZPT and play online on Full Tilt as Red Pros.

For Jono Karamalikis, representing Full Tilt is not something new, having played as a sponsored pro before the collapse of the brand before Black Friday in 2011. Karamalikis is best known for his victories in the 2012 Asia Championship of Poker High Rollers Event as well as the 2010 APPT Sydney Main Event among lifetime earnings in excess of $2,000,000.

Liam O’Rourke is one of Australia’s most talented young players, with an aggressive, accomplished game that belies his youthful image. O’Rourke has  a number of high-profile tournament results to his credit including a 3rd place at the 2010 ANZPT Gold Coast Main Event and a runner-up finish at the 2012 ANZPT Sydney Main Event.

The third member of this trio is Tom Grigg who brings an unwavering enthusiasm to the table to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere to any game he plays. Grigg has enjoyed a great deal of success on the local tours with four APPT/ANZPT final table results, including a number of six-figure cashes, on his resume and is one of the most likable characters on the tour.

As well as hitting the felt in the ANZPT Queenstown Main Event, the Tour Ambassadors will rub shoulders with Full Tilt Poker qualifiers during exclusive promotions and player activities.

“Our ANZPT Tour Ambassadors represent everything Full Tilt Poker stands for,” commented Dustin Iannotti, Full Tilt Poker’s Senior Manager of Pro, Celebrity & VIP Marketing in a press release. “They are talented players with a passion for constantly improving their skill set, supporting grassroots poker and spreading the word about the game.”

Jono, Liam and Tom are the final set of live event tour representatives revealed by Full Tilt Poker, joining those previously announced for the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), the Brazil Series of Poker (BSOP) and the Eureka Poker Tour. These players help Full Tilt Poker enhance the live poker experience and galvanize ties with both qualifiers and local players.
